Karen and I spent the afternoon at the ’07 Turkey-free Thanksgiving. Guest speaker Erin E. Williams (HSUS, and author of Why Animals Matter) gave a well prepared speech on the importance of a California ballot initiative intended to reduce farm animal cruelty. Bryan Pease, Kath Rogers and the Animal Protection and Rescue League (APRL) hosted the event and all proceeds benefited the initiative campaign. Follow the light for more pictures.
